A "mom's weekend"!
A wonderful trip to Palm Springs with four great girlfriends, fabulous food, lots of fun and tons of chatting! It was on average 104 degrees so we spent many hours in the pool. We were all prepared to have a nice quiet weekend without children and all of us had many books (and gossip mags) in tow that we had intended to dive into. However, our conversations skipped from this to that and we re-read so many book pages that we finally gave up!
It's amazing how much you can learn from like-minded individuals when you actually have time to finish a conversation, much less a sentence (without needing to tend to a child)!
The topics ranged from parenting to politics, nutrition, recipes, autism, vaccinations, chiropractic, gluten free, mom and baby groups, teaching, preschool, etc. The list goes on....
So comes this blog, inspired by my girlfriends as they all decided that I needed to create a blog to post all of the ideas and information that I have in my files, my office, my head... Enjoy!
