Coming out with the blog!

Alright, I've finally done it! I've added enough to the blog to "put it out there" to people... Friends, family, patients, etc.... I have so much more to add and I'll do that as I can.
Today I had someone call the office to request information on vaccines. I frequently have people come in to ask questions about this and I wanted to have a resource to send them to. You'll see the section specifically for this.
I am extremely passionate about this at this time because I have multiple moms very close to my heart who have children recently diagnosed autistic. I've recently read the book, "Mother Warriors" by Jenny McCarthy. She sums it up well in saying, "genetics load the gun, vaccines pull the trigger". There obviously is a genetic and environmental component to this but come on, the vaccines are pulling the trigger on these kids. Bringing your child home to have them seize that evening, to having full conversation with your two year old and within days of vaccinations them losing all speech. Why can't people see?
All I can think of is my little Pearce, severe food allergies which in turn is a weak gut and a hyperactive immune response.... What if I would have vaccinated this little boy?
It's so controversial at this time. The best that you can do is educate yourself. Read, Read and read more...do not take anything for granted, do not trust that the pharmaceutical companies have your child's best interest in mind. The world is polluted with hidden agendas. It is our job to protect our children, educate ourselves and not be pressured into something when our gut questions it.
